I picked up mine from a used car dealer. It was slip pickins, I wasn't very fond of the color at first but it had everything I wanted. And the color just grew on me after a few times going back to the dealer. I don't see many around where I live and the few that I've seen don't have the beige trim like I do.

I have the dark stone on my 2005 STX and like it. I searched quite awhile to locate this color. I found that it seemed somewhat rare in Florida and Texas.

It was not available in 2004. I bought mine in 2005 and I had to order it from the factory to get Dark Stone. The dealership had a couple of Expeditions in Dark Stone but no F-150s.

Dark Stone was available from 2005-2007. It was then replaced with Stone Green in 2008.

Here is my Dark Stone Lariat.

A close-up of the color:

There is a fellow in the newer neighborhood by me that has an '08 lifted Lariat with the Pueblo Gold / Dark Stone custom 2 tone, pretty much along the lines of what I want to do. Dark stone on the bottom / flares, but of course keeping my Arizona Beige...

I agree, there are 3 other ones at my work. Mine is the only solid color, the other 3 are 2-tone with the tan bottom.
