My company truck does it on the driver side bad. it's an 06 XL 90,000mi, manual cranks.
My personal is 04 FX4 33,000mi power and does not do it.

planning on taking the panel off one of these days.

FYI, one of my co workers with the same year, similar miles, crank window, just had to have some kind of plastic part replaced for the crank as his stopped going down all the way entirely.

Mine does it too. I wonder how many trucks don't have this annoying feature?

Mine too, I think it's the weather stripping or that window squeegy thing your arm rests on when the window is all the way down

I got the squeak also. I thought it was from the ventshades but removing them didn't help. I've got the supercab and the back windows don't squeak, only the front ones. WTF.

Mine too... I have manual windows and it only does it when it's hot. Loud as hell though.

Noise seems to be coming from the weatherstripping where the window drops into the door.

Hmmm... I was going to try that to at least isolate where the noise is coming from.

Maybe slip some wax paper or something in between the window and weatherstripping just to see if it stops?

At least then we'd know for sure where it's coming from... then go from there on finding a fix.

Might require new stripping, since lube didn't seem to work?
