any more specs on what you would be trading for??
also, do you know if all of the matenance has been done for the truck... ie: oil changes, tune ups etc..
190000 is quite a bit of miles for an '04, were they high way or city miles?
more details would be great!

is it an xl, xlt, stx, fx2, lariat?

that truck is worth about 9000, give or take..

i think its the xl it has all power options, he says he has changed the oil every3000 miles, all highway miles drives alot of miles for work. here are som pics of the truck, and some pics of what im thinking of trading to it.

probly an xlt if it has all power. inside looks nicer than an xl and it has carpet floors and not plastic. looks like theres a nice exhaust system on the truck also. i dont know how much money your s10 is worth, it might be worth a trade if you have no problem with the mileage. if you do get the truck get rid of those gay things in front of the f150 badge on the fenders.

I think the kelly blue book on that truck is $4K, but you could probably get a lot more miles from it, if you think you'll keep it for a while, do it

It does look pretty good, that's an xlt, if it was maintained it has a lot of life left

the clean retail on nada is 8200 on the ford my books for 5900 with about5500 in parts.yeah i asked him if they were bolt in or stick on lol. those are going for sure. i have another question if i get it im buying wheels should i get 24's the only tire option is a 305 35 24 or should i get a 22 with bigger tires?

my problem with the 305 35 24 is the thickness i run 35 on my 20's on my xtreme and havent had any problems would the possibility of bending a rim on a 24" be greater?

that truck looks like its in great condition.. if its what you really are looking for, trade it..
would it be a daily driver or a show truck?
im not sure with the rims question ( im more into the lifted truck look)
thinkness wouldnt be a problem, and i highly doubt you would bend a rim...

most people run 22's on f1 fittys

when you get the truck, be sure to stick to the forums!!

FWIW, my old boss had (hell, may still have the thing) a 98 with the 4.6 and when I stopped working for him in Sept, 2007, he had well over 300k on it. The foam on the driver's seat was well worn, but other than that the truck ran perfectly and he didn't even think twice about doing his weekly 600 mile round trip from Phoenix to LA across the desert. The truck was very well maintainted and if it ever needed anything he got it done. Basically, if the guy can prove regular maintenance, there's a lot of life left in that truck. And, yah, the fender 'vents' gotta go. I'd probably ditch the chrome door handles too.

Those stick on side vents probably raised the price of the truck about $5,000!!! I freaking hate those damn things

Quite a bit of miles but these engines do last a long time. And if it only has another hundred thousand in it then perfect time for a built up 5.4 swap.
