PW/PL switches
PW/PL switches
I am trying to install PW / PL in my 06 I have the factory switches but no wiring. I am trying to find out if there is a pigtail harness that attaches from the door switches to the kick panel, or does the wiring run all the way to the fuse panel? The EVTM shows the wiring coming from the fuse panel, but it doesn't make sense that during assembly they would pull all the wires thru when they hung the door?
On some trucks there is no connector, on others there is. I believe the dearborn built trucks have the plugs at the door. There should only be
2 wires going to the fuse box, the rest go to the other doors. If you could get the wiring out of a wrecked truck I could walk you thru the process of wiring

i'd check your local junkyards and see if they have a wrecked reg cab xlt, thats the only truck that will have the same wiring because the scabs and screws have 4 windows. You could also try the dealer, they may have the pigtails. Wiring for that job will be cake, itll be like 1 power, 1 ground to the main switch, 2 or 3 wires to the drivers regulator, and 3 wires to the passenger switch and 2 or 3 to the regulator

Sweet Truck! I have been contemplating wheel flares and I like the ones in your picture. Wife likes the tires sticking out, but I'm starting to lean towards the tucked under look. I'd like to find something that doesn't require any holes in the sheetmetal Tell me about yours THANKS!
