Help me decide by tomorrow !

Well after allot of balancing and road force issues I have decided to dump the Faulken tires and go with a higher quality tire.

There are the 2 the shop I use recommended as I do allot of highway ect, just wondering which one you guys would choose and if neither what you recommend.

They want $349 Canadian Each for the Toyo, Road Force Balance and install and $ 416 Each for the TA Road Force Balance and Installed

TOYO:275/60/20 Toyo Open Country A/T

BFG AT: 285/55/20 BFG All Terrain KO

I don't think you can go wrong with either. I currently have Toyos, not the AT's but I think toyos quality is excellent. I have never had an issue.

I have also had BFG ATs, They where okay, pricey for sure. They have a great ride and never had a balance issue.

Both could serve you well, I guess it comes down to price, size and looks. If you do mostly highway I'd probably go with the Toyos, if you offroad at all I'd go with the BFGs

I also do 97% of Hwy driving, and due to the MPG issue, I actually went with BFGs Long Trails. They have a higher rating for MPG due to less resistance. I paid USD $660 RfBalanced and installed.

I personally more of a BFG AT guy and a Toyo MT. Just because, the BFG AT looks more aggressive and handles better off road than the Toyo AT and I've seen the BFG AT last over 60,000 miles, but they do come at a price.

With those two choices, I'd go with the Toyo. I have never been a fan of the BFG A/T tread pattern.

I've been pretty happy with the BF Goodrich tires too. Although not on my F150, I do have a set on my '06 Explorer that are OEM Rugged Trails. Not quite as aggressive as the A/T, but close with good dry, wet and snow traction. These are quiet and comfortable riding tires. Wear seems on par with other tires I've had, and currently have 30k on them.
I wanted the Toyo's on my F150, but the dealer had some Yokohama Geolanders already at the dealer and gave me a good price on these.

Hey bigdog, how about 140,000 miles? I had a set go that long for me on another 150 that I own, and the set I have on my '05 has 120,000 miles on them right now and that's all highway, no off roading. I'm hoping to get another 10,000 miles or so out of them because the next set I'm going to get are gonna be a little bigger and more expensive and I don't have the money for them right now but I'm definitely getting another set of BFGs. You can't go wrong with those and well worth the money IMO.

130,000 km is only 80,000 miles. BIG difference there. He said 140,000 MILES, which is about 225,000 km!

You really cant go wrong with either one! I would go with the Toyo's myself. The price is descent, they wear really good and also with the sizes that you stated the Toyos should get you slightly better mileage. Due to the fact that they are narrower and taller than the BFG's. BFG A/T's are a good quality tire, although I have never been a fan of them, or should I say the price of them.
