I did a search for this but pretty much every thread on the topic was for pre-2004 era trucks. I have a bad front wheel bearing on my '07 SuperCrew @ 51K miles
I don't even want to think of what the dealership will charge me for the part and labor. It looks like I can get the part for a little over $200.
Is it a tough job? I've never done front bearings on an IFS truck but I've done several FWD cars. Is it a similar set-up where the bearing bolts to the front spindle? Any special tools needed?
If it's going to be a royal PITA then I'll just take the ****** from the dealership rather than messing with it. A very god friend is a fleet mechanic for a large company and says he doesn't think they're that bad to do, but (funny enough because he's a HUGE Chevy/GMC guy) he says the few F-150s they have don't need much more than regular maintenance so I don't think he's ever done one.

Figured I'd update this, even though it didn't get many replies. It was a breeze. I think the worst part was that I had to lower the truck back down again to lean in under the hood to disconnect the wheel speed sensor connection and hook up the new line. You need an 18mm socket for the 2 bolts on the caliper bracket and the 4 on the hub/bearing itself, and a 13mm socket for the axle shaft nut. It took me just over an hour to do the bearing and replace both rotors and brake pads. Nothing to fear at all.
The bearing (Timken) was $165 at Rock Auto. It comes with the new speed sensor and wire harness. All of the clips and grommets that hold the harness wire in place along it's length were in exactly the same positions as the factory one so it was real quick and easy to do that part.
