Gotta love that, I always forget to write down settings and stuff so I can easily get them back to normal very quickly to easy

I've also heard of the TPS causing similar symptoms.

Getting a new short block. Engine seized, couldn't crank it at the dealer. They tried to hand crank it, wouldn't budge either way. I assume a rod or something bent to hell when they tried to start it. Yeah me. :o

Are you covered by any type of a Ford ESP warranty? I think the injectors have a extended warranty for the 05 model year?........

Yep, covered under the extended warranty for the 05 5.4 injectors. I have a thread about it down the list, P0175.

So far so good today. Went and picked up a boat trailer and hauled it all around town.

I'm going to say this is not an injector problem. I have the same issue when WOT in cold temps and i know 100% it's the drive-by-wire pedal sensors.

I'm going to be replacing both the throttle body and the dbw pedal just to be on the safe side.

It's probably the TPS. There's a revised PCM calibration that works better with a new sensor as well.

I'm sure you'd have to return to stock and then get new tunes since the PCM strategy code will be changed with the calibration reflash.
