do i need any extra's to run 8" rize?

i have a 04 extracab ,wich i will be putting a 8" rize lift on next month ,is there anything i will need ,that is extra ?, like new drive shafts or is the kit pretty much install and drive?,thanks

I believe it is possible that you could just put the kit in and drive. But, you might need longer brake lines and you might need a longer driveshaft. You won't know until you install it.

You might also consider an add-a-leaf to get a level look, gears to regain your low end power, bigger brakes to help stop the rolling mass you will be adding with the 37's, and a shock upgrade.

With that being said, I haven't added the gears, brakes, longer driveshaft, or upgraded the front shocks and I have had no problems.

Have fun with your lift. It will feel like a brand new truck all over again.

yea what he said, you might need new driveshafts and i would get gears right away if you could
