The FX4 comes standard with the 5.4L, skid plates, different shocks, limited slip rear diff, a different gauge cluster and dash panels, the H-bar grille, and also there are more options available than there are for the XLT. So you can option them up to be comparable to a fully loaded lariat.

My Screw FX4
here's mine after 2" level, billet tow hooks, Roush grille with self made Roush lower grille, custom FX4 decals, custom interior LED's, tri fold bed cover, MAC CAI, Saleen dual exhaust with stainless 3 1/2 rolled tips.......just now at 6100 miles...had it 1 yr....almost
