Lord no.
See all those holes in the plate?

They marry up to different manufacturers step bumpers and Ford is a major manufacturer.
You do have plastic over the step (I think), so you would just drill through the plastic from the bottom.

Myself, I would not tow off the bumper and that's what this is.
But, you did ask about a bike carrier and this is a cheap alternative.

If you intend to buy a frame hitch do not go cheap.
You are cheating yourself and future owners of the truck.

They are in IN, and ship very quick ( I get stuff in 2 days from them in Chicago, bumper could be freight carrier ). Shipping is ~ 70.00 on that item when I checked to Chicago, IL.

That is the correct one.
The 06-08 have the same hitch, the 04-05 the frame manufacture was different, so rear bumpers and hitches are different on those MY's.
FYI : Front bumpers are the interchangeable with the correct brackets with the bumper ( 04-05 bumpers have different bracket mounts then 06-08 ).

Looked online, and the hitch is $295.00 list, price ~ 277.00 from online ford dealers.

You might need to get the bolts for it, no note if they are included.
