I understand the frustration, it took me 3 separate times to do it and not get pissed of. I ended up using a fairly long thin, regular screw driver. Finding the tab wasn't too bad but I had to pull up on the bottom of the eat back to gt the screwdriver where it would press the release part of the tab, then once I was sure the screwdriver was in the right place, I pushed towards he back and kind of up, while pressing down on the seat back. It takes some time and is super aggravating until you get it. I zip-tied the tabs back so when I remove the eat next time, no problemo.

Rear Driver Side

Place your left hand on the top of the back seat
place your right hand behind the seat and pull the black plastic piece back.
While doing that push down on the top of the seat, then pull up.

Don't forget to remove the two 10mm bolts from the rear seat belt first as shown in the pics

Is it required to remove that T50?

I've done it everytime I've taken the seat out, but I honestly don't think it's completely necessary. It's not holding anything but the seat belt in place and the support structure is in a fixed position.

oh ok, cause I don't have a T50, everything else but it. If the weather clears up tomorrow I'm going to give it a go.

I have tried and failed to remove my back seat but after reading this strand I believe I will give it another try and think I will be successful. Here is another link someone posted that has great pictures and after reading these tips it makes more sense to me.
