Question Steering Stabilizer??

I just put a leveling kit and 285/55/22 Terra Grapplers on my truck and the steering seems to be a little loose and pulling to the left when I hit the brakes. I put Rancho stabilizers on Jeep Wranglers before after I lifted them and it seem to fix the problem. Just wondering if anyone else has had the problem or put on a stabilizer?

Just for the sake of asking, did you get aligned?

There is no kit for a stock or leveled truck. But a couple of members here have bought the Fabtech stabilizer kit for use with 6" kits. From what I remember reading you have to make some mods to brackets to get the Fabtech kit to work, but it is possible. I don't think that a stabilizer kit would help with the truck pulling when you hit the brakes.

A few years ago I was thinking about modding a Fabtech kit on my truck because of wheel shimmy, but after getting the tires balanced for the 3rd time it was gone.

I thought a stabilizer was more for play in the steering wheel when hitting bumps and stuff

I use them pretty much only for bumpsteer. They do a great job keeping the 37s point straight on rutted old roads.

I had it aligned the day they put he leveling kit on. It sounds like maybe I need to have the alignment checked again and that the steering stabilizer is not really what I need to fix this problem.
