Does the 07/08 f150 use a fan clutch or does it have electric fans?
Thanks

Is that any better than the fluid filled clutch I have today? I know the fluid filled clutch does cause a bit of parasitic drag. Does the electric fan clutch address this issue?

I hear they have their share of failures. Unless it came on your truck, you won't be able to retrofit it. It's controlled by the PCM. It's still engine driven, it's just the clutch operation (engagement) is electric. I presume it has minimal drag when not engaged.
