If that's a no go, I'll see where this road goes.

The one going in the opposite direction.

I work at CompUSA now on Federal between Oakland and Sunrise.

Driving technique can change a lot of stuff. Don't hit it too fast, but don't go to slow. Hard to explain without doing it. I actually mudded my truck this past weekend and was surprised at what stock size tires can do with just a road tire tread. Go in in 4hi and keep moving. When you get an area worked out and you are comfortable without getting stuck, put it in 2hi and then slide that **** around Just bring a 30ft strap and don't use chains or other unsafe connecting devices to pull out a stuck truck.

I havent offroaded a ton, but from experience ALWAYS check the depth of standing water, because it may look like a little pud until there is water seeping in through your doors and your engine cant breath! Just be careful and have a buddy to help you out, and other buddies with bigger trucks to help you out.

Yeah, I'll probably steer clear of the watery portion of the area.

x2! Always check what you are crossing before crossing it. It may not look deep but what if its a 5ft hole? Your hood goes under, hydrolocked engine, ruined truck.

Just be careful.

lol, yes, always check depth...

i had gone through a "puddle" in my jeep... i went to the left the first time through... no big deal... just a little wet, 6" - 12" deep....

on the way back, i went 10' to the left.... and the front bumper disapeered and half the grill was under water... i hammered down and got through it... good thing... my winch was useless with nothing to winch too... i was in a lifted jeep wrangler with A/T tires...

always either walk through it, or put a stick in it to test depth...

I just hope it isn't private land. I don't need those residents calling the police on me, lol.

Well, I did it. I took the road in front of the truck all the way around. Had a freaking blast! Entire truck is covered in mud! It was good to pop the cherry. BUT, it smells like there's something burning underneath the hood. Any ideas?

Thanks guys.
