What's wrong with the truck!?

On my way home from picking up my neice my check engine light came on and the little light that looks like a wrench(indicates truck has switched to "limp home mode" What could be wrong with the truck?

I have a feeling it's got somethin to do with the damn HHO my brother put in it but we took that out and it's still doin it so i dunno...

guess i'll have to take it into the mechanic and see if they can figure it out..my trucks been makin some really crappy sounds lately so it's probably somethin else...

anybody got any ideas?

Check your gas cap? Make sure it's on good. If it's loose, screw it back on until it clicks, give it a little while and the light should go out. Other than that, I'm at a lost. - Og

I hope that kit didn't screw something up on your truck.

Try unhooking the power to the HHO kit and see if it will work. Also get the codes pulled and write them down and post them here.

It couldnt be that. it doesnt produce enough power or explosion to really cause any real problem. But I thought about this before I kept that ma-jigger on my truck for too long. In a sense, your putting a gas in your truck thats going to convert back to water... Water in the engine. It didnt really catch my fancy.

That could be a bad problem. Ever have a green like gunk sit at the top of your water reservoir?

made it to autozone to have codes read and he couldn't get it to read...said the fuse is probably blown so now we're checking the fuses and will replace any that are blown and then try to get the codes read...

I had this same problem before. I was driving come to a stop sign truck is doing fine go to take off and truck just craps up start running kinda rough and the light comes on. Brought it home shut it off let it sit, did some research on it didn't find much. Went out the next morning to start and drive it to see if it was still doing it and the truck was back to normal. Never had the problem again.

P0010 - Intake Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit Open (Bank 1)
Description: The comprehensive component monitor (CCM) monitors the VCT circuit to the PCM for high and low voltage. If the voltage falls below a calibrated limit a calibrated amount of time during testing, the test fails.

P0020 - Intake Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit Open (Bank 2)
Description: Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit/Open (Bank 2).

P0102 - Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit Low Input
Description:The MAF sensor circuit is monitored by the PCM for low air flow (or voltage) input through the comprehensive component monitor (CCM). If during key ON, engine running the air flow (or voltage) changes below a minimum calibrated limit, the test fails.

P0135 - HO2S Sensor Circuit Malfunction (HO2S-11)
Description:During testing the HO2S heaters are checked for opens/shorts and excessive current draw. The test fails when the current draw exceeds a calibrated limit and/or an open or short is detected.

P0155 - HO2S Sensor Circuit Malfunction (HO2S-21)
Description:During testing the HO2S heaters are checked for opens/shorts and excessive current draw. The test fails when the current draw exceeds a calibrated limit and/or an open or short is detected.

P0443 - EVAP Control System Canister Purge Valve Circuit Malfunction
Description:The PCM monitors the state of the EVAP canister purge valve circuit output driver. The test fails when the signal moves outside the minimum or maximum limit for the commanded state.

P0446 - EVAP Control System Canister Vent Solenoid Circuit Malfunction
Description:Monitors the canister vent (CV) solenoid circuit for an electrical failure. The test fails when the signal moves outside the minimum or maximum allowable calibrated parameters for a specified canister vent duty cycle by PCM command.

P2106 - Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited Power.
Description:The throttle actuator control system is in the FMEM mode of forced limited power. This DTC indicates the FMEM action is in effect due to a failure in an ETC related component or module.

After reading all of the info on these codes plus possible causes it sounds like your troubles are directly related to the HHO and what it did to your truck.
