what is the MT?

I have the ATs (All Terrain) and they have worked very nicely for 2 years. I haven't seen much mud and no sand, but they are great in snow and ice... for what its worth...

MTs are the mud terrains. I had the ATs on my Tacoma previously; they were great. I had the MTs on my old woody Jeep. Loud as heck, but everything was loud on that Jeep. Great off road not so much on pavement.

A buddy of mine has them and they a pretty loud but they seem to be wearing good so far. The pictures of them don't do justice to the depth of the tread either.

I have them and love the way the drive and look. I think they drive great on the highway. I've never had them in the mud..................probably never will.

I loved those tires. It's a shame that Firestone won't make 'em larger than a 33" though

Had them on my Bronco. Not loud at all IMO and the offroad traction was excellent. Mud/rocks/gravel...a darn good tire

the pavement traction wasn't so great in the wet...dry was just fine though

btw, the tread lugs are deep. well over an inch deep between the lugs. helps them clean out nicely in the mud...and the aggressive side lugs are nice looking and functional
