Red face Rust on seat posts

When I pulled my back seat rest I found rust on the posts, brackets and floor.

Is this common or should I be concerned & take it to the dealer?

Common. I don't know why Ford doesn't treat the interior metal.

unfortunately its common, plus the 04-08 are notorious for 3rd brake light leaking.

I've got the same thing on my 05, Seems to be just minor surface rust, but it's still annoying
