So I bought myself a Chrome Grille from Roush to put on, thought i could do it today but I started removing the nuts on the screws, the hood roof ones came out find but when I got to the ones on the top edge of the grille, only the middle ones would come out. I wd-40 the crap out of the others but they wouldn't come off....for some reason the wrench would spin and so would the nut on the screw but it wouldn't loosen.


Anyone else have this problem? If so whats a solution besides ripping out the damn thing lol sorry but probably much easier at this point lol

 

well now you are gonna have to figure out how to get the grille off, i would use a dremel. ultimately you will need a new surround.

 

that sucks, ugh where can i get that? Wouldn't mine having it in red to match but idk, this just got more complicated

 

you can't buy just a new surround, only comes with a grille. best bet is to find a used one. i have a red one at my buddy's house, some scuffs on it though.

 

do you still have the red surround? if so how much would you take for it?

 

well i just broke some of the upper tabs on my red surround so I need a new one, and a new ford emblem. Where can i get that stuff for cheap?
