Installing FX4 flares on an XLT

I'm sure people have done this retro, but I'm having little luck with the search command.

Have people had luck securing these with 3M automotive tape. I don't want to drill holes in my fenders and bed, and I don't think the couple matching screw holes are enough. Thanks!

check on ebay, there are some that look just like oem but no holes need to be drilled

but is so hard to get them here in Mexico and dealer wants like 250 USD each!

well i had planned to run the tape where the studs mounted... i wonder how those attach
