$201 for a window regulator a little steep?

Thats what the dealer price was - sounds like a lot. Wheres the best place to get one if thats too much?

My dealer gave me a 10% discount. It was $171, I think. That includes 8% tax.

That is for a full regulator and motor. When comparing prices, make sure you are comparing apples to apples.

On my Jeep, I had to pay $450 for one!! I had to replace 2 before I got rid of it.

Silverstatefordparts.com, online parts order from Gaudin Ford in Las Vegas NV. $107.50 + shipping - turnkey (regulator - tracks, cables, motor, etc...) Quick, got the order right 1st time & good email follow-up on order status. Shipped 3rd revision of part that broke on my 2004. Part looks pretty much the same as original but material appears to be Delrin now.

I charge $282.61 for a regulator/motor assembly on an old school Saturn so that doesn't sound too out of line to me, but I'd definitely try some of the other suggestions for cheaper one.

I checked at Advance Auto Parts and a regulator without motor is $46.99 and $39.99 at O'Reillys (O'Reilly didn't specify power but Advance did). Motor is $66.99 and is available separately.
