Is it me, or does it look to you like the mirror and housing is the same on the '09? Just a different shell and stalk?? Wonder how hard it would be to upgrade these parts? I know the mirror is a cinch to disassemble. And the doors are the same, so they should mount the same too. Thoughts??

some guy has 09 mirrors on his truck, silver rcsb forget his name. thirdgenbird is his name.

 

Sounds good to me, I wonder what else you can switch out? Heated/Cooled seats from the 09s? hmm......that would be very nice.

 

Cool, is the orange marker on the front a reflector or a turn signal? Does it light up?

i cant remember, it was like 6 months ago. it probably wouldnt manner anyway. mine are off an xl. no power, heat, or turn signal.

 

Are the lights on the 09 mirrors running lights too or just blinkers?
