Fried my e-fan controller. $#@!

I just installed these fans a few days ago and my controller just couldn't handle the amp draw. My controller was this one.

Now, I need a beefier controller and I was looking at a couple different ones. The first link is a Derale single fan controller (non-adjustable). Would a couple of these be fine? The second link is a flex-a-lite variable speed controller I was also considering. My question with this one is, would I need relays for it or can I just wire it directly to the fans?

Thanks for the input.

azmidget91, can you elaborate on pat's efan thread. Who's pat and is that his screen name? Where do I find his thread?
