My new Accessories...roofrack

Finally got my Yakima Megawarrior cargo basket hooked up after buying it part for part over 2 years. Worked great and went camping with it. Hopefully will have 4 150watt lights in the front of the basket and same on rear. Also a full sized spare on it is in the plans as well.

For some reason I can't stop thinking about Baywatch and their yellow trucks they always drove around on the beach..... how much was the rack?

WOW!!!! THat look just like me. Ok may not so much. It took me a while to get the rack cause I am a little cheap and refuse to pay the $450 brand new price, or the $350 used price I find everywhere. I paid $150 for the yakima rack set up and $150 for the Cargo basket (bought both from Craigslist). The package would usally run about $500-600, but was happy with my $300 total. I am going to see if the fairing would work with the light set up or if it's just a waste. There's a decent amount of wind noise on it and gas seems to be affected negatively, but only by .5mpg. After I wash and wax it I may take it on the beach for some more photos. This was the look I'm going for. TXTonka on ehre, but haven't heard from him in a while.

To get that look you need water. You are in your driveway and at a campsite. But it looks great.

Lining the front of that thing with lights would be awesome!

That truck was stripped of all it's mods, and sold. It was a great looking truck, inspired me to mod my truck, since it was similar in color to mine.
