Keypad help

The '07 FX2 I just bought didn't have the card in the glove box for the factory keypad code. The dealer where I got it is 3-1/2 hours away. The local dealer wants $70 to get me the code. Any other way to get it so I can reprogram the keypad?

You should have made them get it, before you even left the lot, being that they are suspose to go over it with you. But I think the code is printed behind the back seat on these models.

Edit: be sure to shake the manual book, the card might be stuck up between one of the pages!

the selling dealer SHOULD do it for free, we do all the time. If you don't want to go back there you will have to take out upper back seat and remove cover on drivers side. the module is there about 1/2 way down the back.

Well I didn't think to look for it and the owner's manual wasn't there either but I have the owner's manual from my '04 after it was totaled.

Remove rear seat, it'll be printed on the module.

Buddy has one of those scopes you can run down through a spark plug hole to see inside an engine. Gonna try that first so I don't have to remove the rear seat.
