Center Console Question

Center Console Question

I have an 08 lariat with the jump seat in the middle. If i buy a center console will it fit in ok and will it look normal.

There are literally a ton of threads on this subject. Do a search and you will find the install threads. Yes, it will fit. The jump seat comes out by removing the 4 bolts and unhooking the 12v power supply. The console bolts right back in. I did mine back on Christmas day. Here is a picture:

Side note:

I sold my jump seat today on Ebay for $185 + $65 shipping. That covers the cost of the console.

thats not the same console as the one i am looking it...heres a pic of the one i am thinking of.

You'll have to change your entire dashboard and reroute the shifter cable. Major rework. Do a search on console swap and you'll get some threads about this.

Yeah...that is an entire dash and shifter swap. Ask Tycoz.

You can search for the swap with pix. The regular console will fit no problems. If you want the shift console, that's an entirely different beast.
