I have the Hi/Lo H13 installed @ 55w 5000k and H10 installed @35w 5000k.
First problem is that my headlights look yellow, and my fogs look blue, and yet they are both identical stats wise? Can I identify what K he bulbs are? I know the ballasts were marked correctly... (55w for heads and 35w for fogs)
But my MAIN concern is since I installed these HID's my FM/AM radio has been turned into a static machine. Not one station comes in regardless of where I am. What could be causing this? My fogs used to turn on my hi beams untill I grounded the fog relay in the fuse box, but my radio was pure static both before and after I did this... what else could be causing this problem? I thought these digital boxes cannot interfere with the radio??

Maybe you just got jipped products? Wrong labled bulbs, which would be why your heads are yellow(lower heat range) and not digital boxes. Maybe the boxes will put some static out regardless but i think you might have just got wrong products.
No they are a quality brand... at least that's what I've read. I really didn't check the bulbs but the receit says they are correct. Do the bulbs have identifying markings so I can check? Perhaps I have a poor ground somewhere? What usually causes static in the radio with HID's?

That makes no sense, the bulbs usually wont have a mark on it. I've never heard of static in the radio with HID's. Check all your connections. And if it's still incorrect, contact the seller and tell him what's up, and see if you can resend the bulbs and get new ones.
Some trucks have problems with the ballasts causing radio interference. Digital ballast are supposed to cure this, but I don't have a definite answer on this. The only real way to fix it is to encase the ballasts in a lead box. If you have some fab skills you might be able to work something up.
As for the color, sounds like you were sent the wrong bulbs. On occasion the bulbs might be a few K off, but nothing that is easily noticeable to the human eye. I would contact Retro-Solutions about the color.

IVe had my hids from Todd (retro hid) for bout 8 months now my driver side light started discoloring and i finally got a chance to send it back. He will work with you thoroughly to keep you satisfied. Mailed it off yesterday to him - same day service on warranty/repair work they say and returned "as fast as humanly possible". will keep in touch about it!

That's what I heard which is why I chose to go with Retro-Solutions... I will try to figure out this radio problem today, but I cannot be without lights this upcoming week because I will be doing a LOT of traveling. Thanks for the help
AS far as the no lights thing thats the problem i had as well. I just removed the ballast and bulb on that side and put my old stock bulb in. Yea it looks stupid but atleast im not down a light. and honestly i see no difference from JUST the one bulb and fogs and adding in the other stocker

the problem is with the 55W ballast, true while providing more output, the color will be distorted from a regular 35W kit. This has been proven in many conversions and retro-fits. A higher output ballast on a "35W" kit bulb you will lose color. The company may have mislead you into thinking they have a true 50W kit, but a REAL 50W bulb would be something similar to a philips OEM DL-50. Anything aftermarket blows compared to OEM HID. Sorry for the luck, but try running your headlights off of the ballast from the fog kit (they will be inter-changeable) and see if there is a difference
