Don't get me wrong, I do love the truck and take very good care of it. I just think nicer wheels on an XL looks funny when the rest of the truck is stock. If I was to upgrade the wheels I'd also want to add PTM bumpers, etc. But I can't justify spending that money on appearance when it'll perform the same. If I really needed that look I would have just gone with an STX.

By the way, I think the XL trucks look awesome as they are. Very rugged and truck-like.

I would go with the STX/XLT 17" painted aluminum wheels. They look great..

I agree. The XL trucks do look good as they are. The only reason I went with an STX myself was because I wanted cloth seats, and the power package didn't hurt.

I too went with the cloth seats. Vinyl just seemed too cheap in my opinion. The power package would have been very nice to have, but I can live without.
