Also can you cut the tail off the 09 emblems w/o exposing the holes in fender? I love the new look, but there a tad too long IMO.

truck looks good its my truck!lol.i have an 05 dark shadow grey and im putting my 09 emblems tommorow.you ought to remove the stx stickers off the bed.

I purchased them from the local ford dealer here where i live.

To answer previous question I am not sure what it would look like if you cut the tail of it off. The tailgate emblem does not have it but not sure on the alignment pins. The alignment pins on the emblems are not on the peice that shows STX they are only on the F150 portion.

I have the part numbers from fordf150.net but not sure how accurate they are.
