I came across a sweet deal on some wheels on Craigslist.

I also had my tires mounted on them with the white letters out instead of in like the dealer had them.

 

Nice, man! I know you said you didn't want to but I still think you should remove the pinstripe. The lower decals look great and compliment your truck nicely. It's very unique. But I don't like the pinstripes at all. Would look cleaner without them. Wheels look much better now, though.

That truck looks pretty sick.

 

I spent most of a Sat doing my wheels like yours. lightly sanded the spokes, the grey part, taped off the rest of the wheel and sprayed the part I wanted black. I have some pics on my work computer. I'll post one Monday.

You can get an idea what it would look like by puuting black tape on the spokes of a wheel.

 

I dont trust myself with paint. I make runs, drips, bubbles, etc.

 

Spray painting isn't a hard challenge. Mask everything necessary and scuff, prime, spray, clear, and let dry. walla.

 

x2. I painted my old wheels here. Your process would be much easier and less tedious. The biggest thing is going light coats. Runs come from too heavy of coats. Go several light coats and it turns out much, much better in the end.

 

No matter what I try I can never spray paint right.
