new wheels & tires...sorta

picked up a great deal on craigslist. fx4 wheels w/ bfg rugged trails. practially brand new. the guy basically upgraded his set and needed to get rid of these. i think i like them better than the originals it came with
hmmm decisions, decisions...

at a quick glance

finally got them on after stressing over my stuck lug nuts (another thread). after taking the pic i realized that i forgot to put the caps back on

Definitely better! I've always been a big fan of the factory FX4 wheels.

I actually like those Lariat wheels better for some reason

why is the butt of your truck sitting so high?

I like both sets, but like Tylus, I think I prefer the Lariats. Looks good though

I did the same thing. The FX4 wheels definitely look sharper IMO, mind you, I went from 17" XLT alloys to 18" FX4's. The XLT wheels look the same as the Lariat wheels IMO. I'm more than happy with mine.

Looks pretty good. How much did you pay? I was gonna pay $800 for the exact same set last month but decided not to.

$800 is a bit much for stockers. the guy i brought them from just needed to make room in his garage and didn't want to deal w/ this set just laying around anymore. he had them up for $365, talked him down to $350. not bad considering the tires alone run about $160 at discount tires. and the tires were practically brand new. i'm just unsure if i keep the lariat wheels or just put them up for sale. more than likely i'll put them up for sale cuz my garage is full too
