What should I order first?

I am going to do my yearly buying of new parts for the truck, but unlike other years were I have gone and spent 4-500+, this year I am going cheap and trying (note trying) to spend $250 or less. But I can't decide what I should order first, if I order 2 or more things I am going to order 1 next week and then wait for a month or so and order the other. (I am trying to fly under the radar of wife that is 6.5 months pregnant)

This year there are only 2 small things that I can think of, but I am open to any other ideas that anyone has.

1. 09 emblems--I was quoted $85 shipped from Tasca

2. 3" Autospring rear blocks--$130 shipped

Thanks
Paul

I would say emblem first based off the picture in your sig....the truck looks good and the 09' emblems really stand out.

Emblems defintley. Lol I promised the wife I would slow drasticly on the spending this year since she needs a car and is driving my F150. So far I bought a 41'' wide tool box, 100ft retractable air hose from sears (10 minutes ago) and a 650 ft/lbs impact gun. I just cant stop.

I know exactly how you feel,I have been trying to cut back on my spending also but it doesn't seem to be working very well. In the past few months I have spent almost $1500 on tools (damn ebay), Home Depot and I have been seeing way too much of each other in the last month also. Now I got a bug up my ___ to do something else to the truck .

I was also thinking that the badges should be next, but I wanted to hear what others had to say.

You can take care of both if you stick with the emblems you have now. I think it would look really good if you painted the emblems black and bought some DSG inlays to match the two-tone. The inlays are relatively inexpensive--then you could buy the 3" block.

I never thought of doing that, do you have any of the full side of you truck so I could see what the fender emblems look like?

Actually in that pic that is a 3" pipe hanging there, although it doesn't look like it, but I now have a 4" SS tip on. I just havn't changed the pic in my sig for almost 2 yrs.

Sure thing, buddy. Inlays are only $15 for a full set from Patriot Decals. So you can save about $60 doing it this way and it would look killer on your truck!!

Well after another trip to Home Depot today, and spending a few hundred dollars, I have decided to go really cheap now. Instead of buying 2 things I am only going to do the emblems. Now I just have to decide if I am going to get the ones for the 09 or just paint mine and do inlays (gray or chrome), what do you guys think?

Since your truck is two-tone the DSG inlays on a black emblem would look awesome. 1 vote for paint/inlays!
