Auto Dim Mirrors

I really dont care that the rear view doesnt dim but the drivers side mirror I do need to back up with..Guess I will put a spot mirror on and try that or what happens if you just unplug it behind the rear view?

The drivers side mirror has a coating on the glass that makes it darken like those transitions lenses that automatically darken in sunlight. Just get a replacement glass from a pre 07 they don't have the coating.

Was able to place a piece of scotch tape that was grey / smoked in color over the sensors. It blends in with the mirror and allows it to function with those with bright lights but does not dim for the normal traffic around.

Can not believe they do not include an on/off setup for these. They sure charge enough for the features so why not add the 29 cent china made on/off switch to the dam thing
