Can 2004 FX4 exist without the common problems?

Have you guys had 2004's without big problems.

I've read some really bad things about these truck all around. Especially 2004.

This seller has many service records and I believe him to be honest.

He claims no problems at all like some report. 95,000 miles. Build date of 11/03.

No loud engine noise, no leaking seals, no rear-end rebuilds, no transmission problems. Most people with these problems have them within the first 20,000 miles.

If this has 95,000 miles with no problems it could be safe to assume this was built right? Otherwise, the known issues would've shown up by now ???????

A majority of the 04's have no problems. When you build about 900K trucks a year your bound to have a few bad ones, but most are trouble free.

My 04 has been problem free, I have only had it at the dealership twice for little thing, a squeak that I couldn't find and also to have the drivers side fog light replaced. Both were covered under the 3/36 warranty and my truck has not been back since.

My 04 has been trouble free. It already had 62,000 mile's on it when I bought it last year. It now has 86,000 mile's on the odometer and all i've replaced is the battery and I don't drive like an old man.

Mine has also been problem free sure there were a few little things here and there but nothing I would really complain about.

there are plenty of trucks with no problems. I do not have one of them, but I know there are alot more that have been flawless for their owners. I would have the plugs done on it if you buy it, and take it to your mechanic before you buy it if you are really concerned
