Exclamation Need HELP!!

So heres the story ....

Truck has right about 27000 miles on it. Its an 07 xlt 4x2.
18" chrome rims came with the standard bfgoodrich tires.
The truck seemed to pull/drift off to the right so did alignment ... after alignment... after alignment must have done 5-6 by now. The truck ATE through 2 of those tires (front two at time, rotated every 3-4k miles) before 20k miles so i replaced around 22k with michelin ltx at2. now with not even
--- All tires were wearing on the outside. the tires on the front were completely bald about halfway through and then normal wear on the inner edges. Out of alignment right? thats wat i thought

Now with not even 5k miles on these michelins im seeing the same wear going on. outer edges wearing and inner doing fine. again on the front back is fine. havnt rotated them yet (know i need to, just havnt had time). So ... the tires were put on by my local dealer balanced and truck aligned when i got them put on to prevent this.

What can be causing this? alignment is "in spec" im told by dealer and NTB. truck still feels a little squirmy at times and drifts to the right.

Any ideas?

PS: i do drive a bit aggressive but not enough to warrant these measures of wear on brand new tires!!!

It sounds to me that the alignment is still off, get a print that shows before and after specs of the alignment. With a good alignment job you should not have any abnormal wear and the truck should also track straight and true.

They only other thing that I can think of is that maybe the ball joints are junk and that your dealer isn't checking them before doing the alignment. Which would mean that once the truck is driven off the lift it is already out of spec and would be causing the abnormal wear. I know its a long shot but worth checking.

long shot indeed but i will have them check it. heading down there after i get lunch will check in off my phone while i am there if anyone else posts.

Long shots are always a good thing to get told because i wouldnt have thought that they would be back this early in trucks life. Thx

Would they be covered under warranty?

Call me crazy but the tires Ford puts on the truck sucks. And this might sound stupid but do you keep up with the pressure? Tire shops dont inflate all the way b/c the ride feels smoother. Dealerships even air DOWN the tires.
