What's the emblem at the bottom front of your doors?

I'm not saying that you couldn't afford an '09, I just don't like badge swaps between different generations. Like when people put the 04-08 badges on pre-04 trucks, or when people put FX4 stuff on a non-FX4.

Edited to add, I replaced my badges too, but I had these made...

The emblem at the bottom of the doors is the 60th anniversary badges that came on the truck. And those emblems you had made are sick!

Sweet, can you get a closer pic?

Other than that... like other said, drop the rear so it's level and paint your headlight or get HD headlights.

in my case it has nothing to do with buying a new truck or not, i just cant stand the emblems on the 04-08 in my opinion they are the most ugly pos ford has ever made i'm glad they went back to the old look/style of emblems

Seriously, though, I like those wheels, and the 09 emblems are my favorite part about the new body style so far.

Did you put new 09 emblems on, or did you hate the 04-08 enough to take them off and put pre-04 badges on?

I like the 09 emblems, but i wish you could get ones that fit the fender that don't have the XLT/FX4/Lariat tag hanging off of them.

Go to your local Ford dealer they should be able to get you just the f150 portion and you don't want the tailgate emblem on the sides. It won't line up with the positioning holes.

I have not gotten them yet so i still have the ugly (in my opinion i don't want to start an argument over it.) ones on. if i would have known that the pre-04's would fit i probably would have changed to them, another guy posted a link for the 09's on ebay for 59.99 brand new (fx4) so that's specifically why i bought them. reasonable price and brand new.

if i wasn't so lazy i could have taken them off fill the holes and paint but it's just alot easier to replace

To add, 2009 trucks are not a different generation, they are a better looking and designed 04 - 08

Ah same difference... New transmission, new design, new powerplants (soon), etc = new generation.

If you can't swap out most of parts, I'm considering it different.
