best LED tail lights

who makes the best? quality and long lasting. there are some big gaps in pricing between company's. i really like the recon lights which also seem to be the most expensive.

I like the Hellas but am considering the recons since they come smoked. Recon LED tails and third brake light are $279.96 if you use the "4x4" promo code. Something to consider.

I waited almost a year to buy LED taillights because of the "recon hype"... I was severely disappointed in the crap they put on the market as 04-08 f150 taillights.

Hella all the way the bulge is unoticeable after a while

Can't wait for pics. Which lights did you go with? Smoked, red smoked, clear...

Another more economical option are LED replacement bulbs. I bought a set from www.autolumination.com. Much brighter than regular filament bulbs and a ton cheaper than replacing the entire housing.
