contemplating flow through dash swap in the summer, need opinions.

ok guys i have read deep into FX4andHARLEY and FX4&EXCURSION's dash swap threads and i think im ready to tackle this feat.

Here is my idea, I am thinking about using the gloss black dash from the Harley trucks and using my STX gray plastic pices in place of black Harley pices. hopefully you guys can kind of get the idea from the pic below.... if any one is really good at photo shop i am sure someone could color the pic so we could see what it would look like if i were to do this. so what do you guys think? do you think it would look good? do you think it would be worth it? or do you think it would just look like crap and be a waste of cash. any inputs are welcome as of now nothing has been purchased yet. thanks guys, hope all is well!

Rough idea of what i want to do:

This is similar to what i have now in my truck but with chrome A/C vents, XLT console, FX4 gauge cluster and navigation touch screen.

I envy you texas guys, theres so many people with cool trucks and cool ideas down there...up here in PA hardly anyone has any taste or any desires to do anything cool...I'd love to be able to help people do mods, but nobody wants to do mods that are more than 50 bucks and arent available at advance auto, theres probly only 20-30 modded trucks in my county and none of them are members here

yea if you see a decent truck, not necessarily modded out, just well cared for feel free to talk to the owner (keep safety in mind) and tell them about the site
