Exhaust time

Well I think am almost ready to get new cat back.
I am looking at split rear exit.

I have narrowed it to three

roush off road: Good rep Good sound Good name cons:little more than MBRP

Magna Flow: Very popular cons:highest priced of all

MBRP: Good Price they also sell a none stainless system for only 350.00. cons: I have never heard one in person not sure about the company.

Ok help me decide.

Thanks

Why does it need to be stainless? You can go to summit and get a turbo muffler system, dual outlet for 149.00.

Roush or MBRP. I got the MBRP SI/SO XP series which is stainless with lifetime warranty for 340.00 shipped from truckcustomizers.com. I think the XP dual split is 430 shipped.

Here's a video of mine. Cold start. I have a couple more on there too if you click see users other videos. If youtube videos mean anything.

Forget that out the side and back stuff. Do stacks!

For the price paid on these aftermarket "cat back" systems, you're better off getting a custom aluminized/stainless true dual setup.

I ditched my Roush cat back because of the measley single/dual 2.5" config and went with a total 3" cat-back from the header pipes back to a dual side exit. The sound is quite noticeable without being obnoxious and the performance is more than enough:

I JUST installed my MBRP system tonight and me and a buddy and my neighbor were blown away by the sound... PIMP sold me on the MBRP and it has exceeded my expectations as far as exhaust and I was stuck between the roush and the mbrp.. well I am glad I went with MBRP! Here is a photo I took tonight and will get better ones posted up later on this weekend.

Pimp, that is were I am leaning, there aluminium one is only 360.00 delivered from autoanything. I am not looking for looks mostly for sound. And I have never had a truck long enuf to rust thru the exhaust anyway. They say on there sight that all three preform and sound the same. the pro xp and instaler series.

They are all made the exact same way, the only difference is the metal materials used. I've got the expensive 304 one but I have heard the aluminized kit as well and they are identical.

I also vote for MBRP, I have had 3 other exhaust systems in my life and now am a HUGE fan of the mbrp. there quality and install were just amazing.

Thanks to PIMP for the pics as well as the info which sold me on this system.. I cannot be any happier.. I am getting pics of the system tomorrow as well as all cleaned up.
