Vision Issues
got mine at the lower outermost corners. they are the cheapie $1.00 walmart ones.
I've installed them on every single vehicle I've owned for the past 10 yrs...and even a few I didn't own, but drive regularly.
they sell all types of sizes and even some that are moveable, but I've found the 2" ones ideal for me
please excuse the dirt...

I just wish they would have put a split mirror on the passenger side. Wide angle's are not worth a crap for backing up a trailer. Those little round spot mirror's do help if you drive in heavy traffic a lot. I had them on every truck I've owned except the one I have now.
I guess those little convex mirrors couldn't hurt but I see no need for them with the size of mirrors ford gave us.
I do have a small blind spot behind the rear door on the drivers side.
I read somewhere that you should adjust your side mirrors so that you can see behind your vehicle. Maybe I should suck in the drivers side a bit more, but the passenger side shows me everything.

No blind spots for me. I have the 07 trailer tow mirrors with the built in blind spot mirrors.

what about those a-holes that hang out in the next lane at the brake? they don't show behind you in any of the 3 mirrors, but the convex mirrors always show 'em
I don't ever look over my shoulder. that is what the convex mirrors are for...and yeah, I drive in heavy congested traffic. btw, those mirrors are awesome in helping you back up into extremely tight spots
you guys are full of it

Never looking over your shoulder changing lanes would be a terrible thing to truthfully admit to the cops if you ever have an accident. Not looking, I have missed people quickly changing from the next lane over to the next lane beside me in that blind spot. You think you can see 2 lanes over but the edges of those little mirrors can fool you.
the huge mirrors help, but I think I'm more use to the shape of the box than looking over the trunk of a car for some reason.
I agree with Tylus- Wally World (Wal-Mart) it is. I have used the same type convex mirrors on the last 3 trucks I've owned. But the ones I use are the larger square with 1 rounded corner. Be sure and put the rounded corner at the lower outside- it's designed to be used that way. Gives you just the picture you want rather than the complete circle of convex vision you have with the round ones. About $2. each at W-M. You can see the vehicle behind you in the mirror until he comes into your peripheral vision. Bought a motorhome with them on and loved em so much I haven't been without em since.
Nope, not full of it. Just tryin to help you out so you don't have to stick those crappy, ugly little mirrors on there that prove to people you can't see enough to drive.
I don't see why you need them with the sqaure foot of mirror hanging off the side of these trucks. Try moving your mirrors around some and see if you can find the right for them.

You are supposed to always glance. Thats quite a bit of money to trust to a cheap convenience gadget. I put the rectangles on my motorcycles but I still glance most of the time. The more traffic the more you expect people in places around you.

Now I know why Trucks are always merging into me while I'm on my Motorcycle Passing them..
