yeah with a 2wd truck and a 2.5 leveling kit with the right tires you can get 35's.. it will rub like crazy but it was done. i do have a pic somewhere, travis08 had me do his lift on his truck and gave it to me with 35's with a leveling kit

yeah they are shallow mount, they are kenwood exceleons and they werent that expensive and hit nice and hard. i know JL makes a shallow too. but i listen to alot of heavy metal and the guy that was helping me with my system told me to go with these. they are really nice and responsive and clear. i love them. i want to put a two more in behind the seat but i dont know if i can.
