Leveling / Tire Question

Here's a little background,
I have alway been a lifted type guy, but with my '05 I thought id try something different. I dropped it 2/5, w/ 20's.

Now im tired of it lowered and driving so cautiously to not hurt anything (I know a 2/5 isn't slammed, but I drive it like its lifted)

I'm lookin for a fix to hold me over for a long while till I have the coin to do a full 6" on 35's. I'm looking to run a leveling kit (actually level w/ rear) on 33's, id also like to keep my wheels is possible. Just easier to buy tires only.

What would my options be and can I see some pics?

Oh and im lookin for the 2wd guys

Thanx for all the help guys!!

Here is a local buyer for your lowering kit.

Hey guys. Do I know you from somewhere??

Another reason for the lift, is that im also in the market to drop about 15K on a toy hauler and a couple quads. Towing would be a pain as it sits now. I could bag the rear to compensate for the weight, but then i run the issue of clearance on the dirt for trips to the desert

EDIT: Thanx drew. Ill go check it out. If i do lift it, im hoping the cost of the new tired and lift will be mostly covered by the sell of the drop

You sure do, I think if I were you, just go back to stock and buy a leveling kit for the front, then you can 33's

do bilstein 5100 before you buy a spacer. much better ride. especially since you would be totally killing your shocks since you would be going from -2" to +2" on the shocks. They usually will tolerate a ride height change once, but not twice.....

I'm not concerned with the shocks, I have 45k on the truck anyhow, its about to replace them.

x2 with Patman. get the Bilsteins then. Normally I vote no for them vs. a leveling kit, but if the stockers are worn, why not upgrade 'em?

yes. they go from 0", 1", 2" of lift. so set them at the 2" point and that will put your front end about 1" taller than a stock 4x4 (using OEM 4x2 components)

then your requested 33" tires will fit just fine...and you shouldn't need anything out back as long as you re-use all your OEM stuff there as well
