i sent them an email inquiring about a super for our trucks.... I am waiting on a reply. I would be nice if someone offered a larger displacement super for our trucks for the people that want to do built motors and trannies....

here is the email response straight from KB....

I'm sorry but we don't carry anything for any truck (Ford, Chevy, or Dodge) except for the '99-'04 Lightning. Your best bet is Whipple.

how much boost you wanting to run?

the Rouscharger I have can output 20 psi according to Roush if you have the proper pulley and crank pulley setup

I will most likely want to run around 20psi when i get the motor built. however it would just be nice if there was a larger displacement blower that would work more efficiently at these higher psi's.

The roushcharger is an M112 blower that is used on the stock lightnings i believe.... The roots style M112 from what i have research does not like performing at those high numbers without sending IAT's through the roof... hence the nickname Heaton....

20psi sounds like fun. Although at that pressure you're going to have fun locating fuel that won't pre-ignite. What I like is the 12 psi nitrous combo. Once this motor tanks that's the plan. At 6psi it's plenty fun, but a built motor can handle 12 with 93 octane and the nitrous is just over the top for those special occasions.

Driveable, reliable, yet monstrous when called upon.

Check out Stiegemeister's porting for the Eaton M112. They claim their port lowers inlet air temperatures 23 degrees after the blower.

what kind of HP #'s are you looking for?

MattFX4, Drew and a few others are running roughly 500 RWHP with 10 psi or less on essentially stock motors. Just simple bolt-ons and they've got it reliably...that's roughly 600 crank HP

I have issues keeping the tires planted right now with my 412 crank HP...I cannot imagine having another 200 wheel HP...and you want 20 psi?
