What do you dislike about your truck?
I sold my 07 King Ranch last year and wished I had kept it. Fully loaded with the 5.4L, power everything, navigation, reverse camera, and sunroof. Had comfy seats and drove great. Absolutely no issues.
I just got rid of my 2008 F250 FX4 CrewCab with the 6.4L PSD. I absolutely loved that truck except for the lousy gas mileage (9.8 mpg City) and the fact you can't mod the engine without risking your warranty. But the power and looks (inside and out) were fantastic, and I loved my exterior mods. I put it it up for sale when diesel was still way north of $3/gal but not so bad now.
I now have an 08 XLT that I am currently modding as a temp vehicle until I decide what I want (not quite sold on the exterior looks and engine of the new 09s). Seriously considering the new Dodges with the 390 HP Hemi, but I do like the new F150 interior and 6 spd tranny.
What I dislike about the 08 XLT are the cloth seats (very uncomfortable and easily stained), the 4.6L V8 (didn't think it would be much of a difference from the 5.4L I had before, but I was wrong), and the fact that I don't have fog lights in the front bumper.

i will give ya that, chevy's are more pricey than a ford and they screw you on the options you can have. you gotta have this package to get a moonroof and you gotta have this to get heated mirrors.
i'm not spending enough money to get it how I want it/

I have no gripes about my truck.
Love the seats (leather capt).
Noticed the wipers thru the pedals, non issue for me.
Noticed the condensation in the 3rd BL, easily fixed in the spring.
Mileage 13 city/19-20 hwy is also a non issue... it's a 7k lb truck.
I def. think Ford should offer WeatherTech floor liners though!

I can honestly say that there is nothing that I would change about my truck. Granted I would like to have a FX4 luxury, but that package wasn't available when I bought my truck. And now that we have a little girl on the way I wish that I had a screw with 6.5' box. But these things are no fault of the truck.
Here are a couple of the things that I do like the most:
I love the looks of our trucks, its still the best looking 1/2 ton truck on the road.
Mine has been problem free (knock on wood), only a fog light that got moisture into it and was replaced under warranty.
The mileage is good averaging right around 15 almost every tank. There have been a couple road trips that I have averaged over 19.5mpg, 20.7 over the holidays with the stock tires.
The interior layout and leather seats are very comfortable.
I am apparently in the minority since I really don't have any dislikes about my truck.

Thanks for the replies!!!
The only common gripe I see in three pages of replies is leaky brake lights, and cloth that easily stains.
15 mpg seems to be about the average, which isn't too bad for all around driving. My PSD gets low 17's in the summer and low/mid 15's in on winter blend during in town commuting
I only wish I could make a 5.4 run 13's as easily and cheaply as a 6.0 PSD

I agree that Ford is aware of this ongoing issue but the problem has NOT been resolved with all 2008 MY trucks. The latest TSB (08-7-6) Ford released on April 1, 2008 includes the early 2008 5.4Ls because this is still an ongoing issue.

ISSUE:
Some 2004-2008 F-150, 2006-2008 Mark LT, 2005-2008 F-Super Duty, Expedition, and Navigator, with 5.4L 3-V engine; 2005-2008 Mustang, 2006-2008 Explorer, Mountaineer, and 2007-2008 Explorer Sport Trac with 4.6L 3-V engine; 2005-2008 F-Super Duty, 2006-2008 and F-Stripped Chassis, with 6.8L 3-V engine may experience difficulty with spark plug removal. This may cause damage to the spark plug and leave part of the spark plug in the cylinder head. Affected engine build dates are as follows: 5.4L 3-V and 6.8L 3-V before 10/9/07, 4.6L 3-V before 11/30/07.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is my understanding that later production engines now use a different cylinder head casting which utilizes a one piece spark plug.
If you look at the driver's side valve cover, just behind the engine oil level gauge, there is a decal which gives the engine's date of manufacture. If the build date on your 5.4L is after 10/8/07, (or 11/29/07 for 4.6Ls) you should have the new design cylinder heads which utilize a one piece spart plug.
PS: now everyone go look at the build date on your engines!!

They did mine free without being asked when they did my plugs.
Never had a rattle or squeak. Never had a leaking 3rd brake light....Never felt wipers thru gas pedal...Electric leather seats that adjust all sorts of ways while I drive tanks of gas out at a time are comfortable to me... and if not I adjust to new position.
Not enough power until I got a tuner, intake and exaust.
Nit picks:
I have owned several black vehicles but never a truck and it sucks keeping a black truck clean....I dont like the paint...not enough acrilic or something.
I miss the fold down seats of my 01 screw versus the 04 fold ups.
Unless they make a crew cab Raptor this will be the last truck I buy.
