Replacing Throttle Actuator Control: P2104 & P2111
I posted my issue in another thread but now I am seeking help.
Short story: Last Saturday, after driving about 30mi or so, I was cruising a city street and the engine just died (doing about 10mph). Truck restarted after shutting off the key and was able to drive about 20mi back home with no issues. I even had to make a stop, and the truck started and has run fine since. Codes pulled are P2104 & P2111 which point to the throttle actuator control.
Has anyone replaced this? This is my first drive-by-wire vehicle so although I have swapped out a TPS on a Chevy, this is my first TAC. I read in another post about reflashing the PCM after the swap, but is there anything else to watch out for? Finally, anyone got a part number for my '05?
thanks in advance!
