I cant remember for sure, but does the stock one have venting?


I have never had an issue with my 05 other then the color change. I pulled it off and repainted it, then sealed it and threw it on with no real problems.

Maybe it is a heat thing? My truck sees a ton of water and snow, but little to no heat. Plastic parts usually take on some interesting characteristics when exposed to high heat over and over...

Mine is faded but otherwise looks like new and my truck sits in the driveway under the sun in the same spot most of its life.

Thats Delaware Sun though...

Leaving a truck out there VS in the brutal sun down in the Southwest is probably a bit different.
I know back home when it was 110 outside, it was quite a bit hotter inside the vehicles and I had all kinds of stuff warp, melt, and fade.
