I'd second on trying to find a lariat console lid...I had a left over one from one of the consoles I used in my conversion in the Reg. cab I had. Much easier on the elbow and looks a tad nicer too IMO.

Yeah no problem bro. We need to put together a meet here in Vegas, I posted a thread in the West section but no responses yet. I think it would be great to meet some members in person and check out their trucks, maybe at a restaurant or something.

Very nice, I have been thinking about doing the same thing. I want to install an 09 Platinum interior into an 09 Lariat because that is the only way to get a stone interior and a bright red exterior.

I have been hesitant, but after seeing yours I realize it's very doable. The trim from Ford should cost about $4500.00.

I would like to get your opinion.

If I were to convert my interior I would want to do the 08 harley interior. Love it so much.

Craigslist & eBay my friend
I think it cost me around $350 for the leathers, dash, and shifter....I got very lucky because all of these things cost triple what I paid, just found the stuff at the right time

It's up to you. That seems like an awfull lot of $ for an interior swap...mine didn't cost nearly that much, if it did I wouldn't have done it. Its up to you though, if you are good at taking things apart and putting them back together than go for it. I know nothing about the 09's though so good luck

The 09's are not that different. I guess I was worried about things like the headliner, carpet, and trim. Are they glued down? Do they require any special tools. Again, yours look great and It's nice to know I'm not the only crazy person who would attempt something like this

yeah, people see the pictures are they are like

I had fun doing it. The carpet was not glues down but had a few of the christmas tree push pins. Not sure about the headliner, didn't touch that. Take lots of pictures through the whole process and a good tip is have ziploc bags and a marker handy, put like bolts and parts together and label everything. Makes putting it back together easy.
