i think they require you to have a certain back space for it to work

They will fit on any truck regardless of if it is stock, pro comp, rize, fabtech. It will help with steering nibble.

you shouldnt need a steering stabilizer on a rack and pinion truck.

I was thinking the same thing Zach but others who have them said they work. I wonder if some of it is placebo. They look kinda silly on a R&P setup.

It more than likely just "stiffens" up the feel of the truck. Doubt it works anything like a nice monotube setup on a live axle. Probably something like the DSS on the 3/4 & 1 Ton Dodge trucks.

That's subject to ownership. It's purely opinion...

do you have proof of this? everything i read says 6in lift and 17x8in wheels with 5in backspacing

my wheels fit the bill, 17x8.5 w/ 5in bs
but i would like to hear/see proof of one on a stock/leveled truck

I know that a couple of members have put them on thier AS leveled trucks. I don't remeber seeing the members around here in a while though, I know that one of them traded his truck for a Ram SRT-10. If I remeber right everything fits, you just have to modify a mounting bracket to get the stabilizers to work on a leveled truck.

Try a search about the subject.

they do look pretty cool under there. I wonder if you can swap the fabtech's for a set of bilsteins?
