Just curious

So winter is right around the corner, and had a question. Is anyone having difficulty with ice build up between the front door and fender? I ran into this problem a lot last year, and would like to avoid chipping more paint , and breaking out a hair dryer. Would mud flaps help?

That happens with all cars and trucks, I usually just kick it off. Mud flaps would help also. My running boards and fender flares help alot also.

I have front mud flaps and running boards, never had this issue. As you can tell by my location I drive through plenty of snow and slush covered roads.
