I want to make a switch panel kinda like the ones mentioned in the other thread that will replace my ashtray. I would like it to continue with the fake wood grain of my dash. Does anyone know where I can get a panel of the wood grain? I would need a fairly large piece so I can experiement and make sure it looks right. I dont want really rough edges or it cracked down the middle. Lol. It seems very easy to make as long I use some type of switch mount and carefully sand the edges to where there smooth.

I have an extra piece of trim from a dash kit ( vinyl trim ) that would be large enough. I'ts from an 05 lariat. I'm not sure if the wood color is the same. You can have it if you want it.
