06 f-150 XLT come with A/C standard?
06 f-150 XLT come with A/C standard?
i am in the process of purchasing a 2006 f-150 XLT super cab, and now that i went back to look at the website, i am not sure if it has A/C and the dealer is closed right now...
is A/C standard on these trucks? and is it possible that i have an AUX input plug in this truck, has the button, never looked for the plug when i test drove it...
should be getting it some time early next week

thanks for the help, erick

As far as I know, from XLs all the way up to Lariats and King Ranches and everything in between, A/C is standard on all F150s. It's definitely standard on an XLT.
2006 was the first year for the MP3 hook up on top of the dash, it probably has it.

2007 was the first year that had the plug in the top tray for an aux input.
If you want the aux input, you can buy the top tray, tray liner, and plug from an 07 and they bolt right in. Then just get a P.I.E. adapter and wire the plug into the pie and you will have basically what the factory setup is. Going the pie route would be easier than trying to get the oem harness to work, even if you get the correct one for the radio you have.
If you want track info to display and be able to use the radio buttons to control the ipod than you will need an ipod interface. The factory aux input only uses the analog audio output from the ipod and feeds it into the stock radio, you still have to fumble with the ipod to play anything.
